9 Day Luxury Honeymoon Package in Nepal

Namaste! Welcome to Nepal! Our adventure will begin in the beautiful, and chaotic city of Kathmandu. A Blue Tara representative will be there to pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We’ll brief you about the itinerary and make sure that you’re settled into your accommodations.

After breakfast, we will go to a few world heritage sites starting with the famous Durbar Square. After exploring the different temples, seeing the ornate architecture, and learning a little about Hindu culture, we’ll head to Boudhanath Stupa. Here you’ll get to see one of the largest stupas in Nepal where Buddhists come to pray. Last but not least, we’ll visit the Monkey Temple which offers wonderful views of the Kathmandu Valley on a clear day.

After breakfast, we’ll leave for Nagarkot which is a 2 to 3 hour drive from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is famous for its romantic sunrises. The area used to be a vacation spot for the royal family. After the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, this is the perfect day to sit back, relax, and enjoy the majestic views. And, you’ll get to try a traditional Ayurvedic couples massage at the hotel spa!

We recommend waking up early for the sunrise in Nagarkot. After sunrise, you’ll have breakfast at the hotel, and then head to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is an ancient city with several beautiful temples located just an hour drive from Nagarkot. Once you’re done exploring, you’ll get to relax in the hotel. You’ll be staying in one of Nepal’s most luxurious hotels which offers spectacular views.

Another morning, means another beautiful sunrise. Wake up early for incredible views and breakfast at the hotel. Then, we’ll drive an hour to Namo Buddha Monastery where you can listen to monks chanting. Explore the different temples and wander the grounds where novice monks come to learn. In the evening, you’ll be staying at a resort nearby.

After breakfast, we’ll drive to Shivapuri National Park which sits just on the outskirts on the Kathmandu Valley. From here you can go for a short hike through the park or visit the famous Sleeping Vishnu statue in Budhanilkantha.

A quick 20 minute drive will get us back into the main city of Kathmandu. From here, you’ll get to take a helicopter flight over the Himalaya. Fly by Everest, the tallest mountain in the world. If you’d like to land at Everest Base Camp, please let us know so that we can add that to your tour(price will change if this is added). In the afternoon, you’ll get to relax, go shopping, and enjoy Kathmandu at your own pace.

Note: If weather does not permit a helicopter tour, we will try again tomorrow. In this case, we will switch day seven and day eight’s activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take an hour drive just outside of Kathmandu to the Chandragiri Cable Car. The cable car offers one of the best views from Kathmandu. At the top there’s a temple, outdoor space, restaurants, and snack stands. After you’ve enjoyed yourselves, you can head back down and we’ll return you to the hotel. You’ll have free time to go sightseeing in Kathmandu, relax at the hotel, or go to the spa.

Your honeymoon package in Nepal has come to an end. We’ll arrange for our staff to return you to the airport. If you plan to stay longer, please let us know, and we can arrange extra activities during your stay.
